I am an Indian living in UK. I was a business
person living in UAE and have observed the cruelty and inhuman acts of the UAE
towards southeast Asians and several counts of discrimination. I am severely
disappointed of this prevalent discrimination and to be honest its getting worse
every day.
I am glad that there is someone who took an effort towards bringing the
awareness and definitely would support the cause in any form whatsoever.
My father and the whole family had to leave UAE
just because he had hepatitis and nearly got
deported as the law says that people with hepatitis and HIV positive shall be
deported immediately.
We have had several counts of harassment by authorities and Local Arabs just
because we were Indians.
Although people are aware of this situation but there is lack of awareness of
this issue in the western world.
The westerners are treated differently in the
UAE ???
Are the Asians not humans ? Although I say that I praise the west for freedom and
human rights laws.
